JAZZ IS MY LIFE !!!!!: Conrad Herwig - Another Kind Of Blue (2004)
This review makes me confront head on my advocacy for fresh approaches to music. I want new interpretations -- but of Kind of Blue? Do you revisit perfection to see if it can be improved? The review strongly suggests the answer is yes, and that it should come without expectations created by the original. OK, I will seek this one out, but I'm going to have to plan a special evening to listen to it. It's from 2004, so there's no rush.
